The World of Thought-Forms

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “thoughts are things.”  There is something many of those in the occult know about and it’s called Thought-Forms.  A thought-form is created consciously or unconsciously after an accumulation of thoughts, on a particular subject, has taken place.  Everyone creates thought-forms but thankfully many of them dissipate before gaining enough power to cause any effect.  However, there are thought-forms that are created unconsciously when a person obsesses over something in their life.

Have you ever asked yourself, “Why is this happening to me again?”  If so, you most likely have created a thought-form that is using the energy and programming from your subconscious beliefs to create situations for you.  The more emotion and attention you give to the thought-form, the stronger it can become, which can explain why people’s lives seemingly grow worse and more difficult as they grow older.

Once you understand how your ego works and you begin to heal your subconscious programming, you’ll find tremendous amounts of life force energy returning to you because you have internalized your lesson.  This in turn creates permanent changes in your behavior as well as increases your vibration.  Meditation and toning can also raise your vibrations and sometimes positive affirmations but many times it doesn’t create permanent behavioral change so you return to your old ways when you stop using your affirmations.

In Jaime C. Bulatao’s book, “Phenomena and Their Interpretation,” he says, “Actually these spirits may simply be “thought forms” constructed by the mind and are for the most part determined by the culture.  Moslem spirits, for instance, differ from Christian spirits but possess people in a similar way.”

“These thought forms are experienced as semiseparate objects within the self.  In certain emotional situations they overwhelm the total ego; i.e., the ego identifies with its own thought form.  This state of identification is what is called “possession.”

We could say that belief systems develop into thought-forms over time and can “possess” a person in a way that dictates their behavior in certain situations.  The good news is once you become conscious of the belief system and heal the emotional pain associated with it (otherwise known as internalizing your lesson), you will then have the power to dissipate the thought-form.  Usually the dissipation of the thought-form is automatic as a result of your vibration having raised high enough that the thought-form is no longer able to function.  However, the thought-form can reattach if the person’s vibration were to lower down again due to emotionally triggered in a negative way.  This can be avoided by staying conscious of your beliefs and by consciously choosing the programming you you want in a particular moment.

The first step in identifying your beliefs is to locate your areas of pain.  Then you have to go deeper into the areas of pain to find out more about them.  This includes surfacing the when, where, why, how, and what emotions were triggered when the first instance of this pain occurred.  Once that is accomplished you should find various negative beliefs this internal investigation.

Normally it takes months with a therapist to uncover your areas of pain but the system I use with my clients gets you there in a matter of minutes.  Finding your areas of pain is really quite fast and easy (meaning not complicated), however, surfacing additional information behind the pain can be a very daunting task because the ego will do everything in its power to keep you from the truth.

To go about surfacing the information behind your areas of pain, you will first have to make sure you feel good.  If you feel good then you are in Spirit and are better able to take an objective view, or be the witness, while you are surfacing painful experiences.  The purpose of the ego is to keep you safe so if you don’t feel good you will not feel safe and your ego will then be in control making you think things are true when they are not.  This is a very important rule you must adhere to or your efforts may not get to the truth of your beliefs.

It has been my experience, time and again, that it is necessary to surface the painful experience before the subconscious mind will release it along with all of its emotional baggage.  But think about it.  Wouldn’t you rather spend a few days surfacing this painful stuff and then live happily ever after rather than living with your pain for the rest of your life?  It’s painful for a while but you can then heal and be done with it.  You’ll still have the memories but you will no longer have the emotional connection that controls your behavior.

The most powerful occult magicians are the ones who have mastered their ego and have healed their shadow self.  They are in control of their experiences and recognize immediately when a toxic program has been triggered.  They are also masters at creating positive thought-forms to create what they want in their lives.

Another really good book for further study is Magical Use of Thought Forms by Delores Ashcroft-Nowicki and J.H. Brennan.  This book gives you detailed instructions on how to create, care for, and dismantle a thought-form.
